Our client is the New York City branch of a leading global financial institution that serves as a critical hub for U.S. operations, supporting corporate banking, trade finance, treasury services, and regulatory relations. With strong ties to both domestic and international markets, the bank plays a strategic role in facilitating cross-border transactions and ensuring compliance with U.S. financial regulations. The client requires employees to work on-site five days a week (Monday-Friday) at the bank's Midtown Manhattan office.

Job Description

  • Coordinate regulatory inquiries, requests, and communications between regulators and internal stakeholders.
  • Track and follow up on regulatory action items, deliverables, and remediation progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Arrange and manage logistics for monthly and ad hoc regulatory meetings, including scheduling and coordination with internal and external parties.
  • Record, distribute, and retain accurate minutes of all regulatory meetings.
  • Assist in collecting regulatory-related information, status updates, and remediation progress from various departments for review by management.
  • Support quality review of regulatory submissions to ensure compliance with deadlines and standards.
  • Maintain and update regulatory trackers and documentation to support effective recordkeeping.
  • Communicate regulatory requests and deadlines promptly to internal teams, escalating issues as needed.
  • Recommend updates to procedures and assist with revisions based on supervisory input.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Knowledge of U.S. banking regulations and compliance practices, with a strong emphasis on BSA/AML and OFAC
  • Familiarity with other regulatory compliance areas, such as consumer compliance, preferred
  • Ability to implement bank policies and procedures effectively
  • Capability to conduct legal/compliance research and regulatory review
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Willingness to work 5 days on-site in Midtown NYC
