Well known luxury Consumer Goods business based in Manhattan.

Job Description

The key responsibilities entail;

  • Prepare monthly departmental financial statements
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual close process, including preparation of journal entries, P&L review and balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Prepare audit schedules and work closely with the auditors to ensure the completion of a timely audit
  • Assist with customer invoicing and Accounts Receivable workload
  • Responsible for special projects/other miscellaneous and departmental related duties as necessary

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will possess;

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required, CPA strongly preferred
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience required
  • Strong knowledge of month-end closing procedures
  • Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Excel required (vlookupsvlookups, pivot tables)
