Renewable Energy - Head of Interconnection - Remote

The Renewable Energy - Head of Interconnection - Remote will:

• Support project development & origination using analytical tools and methods to determine optimum interconnection strategy identifying key risks and opportunities
• Lead all aspects of interconnection process with ISO/RTO including schedule, milestones, and deliverables
• Anticipate cost and schedule risks, working with Management on solutions to mitigate risks and accelerate schedule when possible
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary team for generation interconnection technical studies and submissions to utilities, engaging consultants as appropriate to anticipate, validate, and influence study results
• Assist Commercial team in congestion and curtailment analysis
• Ensure all projects, greenfield and acquired, comply with all regulatory requirements for interconnection, including local, state, and federal permitting
• Stay updated on changes in grid standards and interconnection policies, identifying risks that could impact project compliance, schedule, or costs, and develop and implement strategies to mitigate such risks
• Track and report on key project interconnection performance metrics, including time-lines, cost, and compliance, while sharing insights with Management to inform future strategy
