Michael Page have partnered with a Home builder with projects throughout Dallas, TX. With a significant pipeline of projects and neighborhoods under construction our client is searching for a Construction Manager to focus on the execution of home projects valued at $450k - $1 million+ in value

Job Description

  • Prepare, manage and update the project schedule including determining the sequence for work and scheduling all material deliveries
  • You will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner
  • Hires, directs, and motivates supervisory personnel, subcontractors and staff engaged in planning and executing work procedures
  • Ensure that all plans, specifications, budgets, labor price sheets and material take-offs are correct for the project
  • Manage all project personnel workloads and manage their individual capacities
  • Hold subcontractors and vendors accountable for complete work consistent with company standards prior to authorizing payment
  • have in-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years' experience in construction/building renovation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills with keen ability to prioritize, multi-task and pay close attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills.
  • Problem and conflict resolution skills, ability to prioritize work tasks, and teamwork and customer satisfaction orientation are required
  • Safety management experience in residential construction industry
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other information necessary for the effective manufacture of quality, single family homes
