Job Description

  • Assist in managing ground‑up retail projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Support scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and subcontractor coordination
  • Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Help facilitate communication between project managers, field teams, and subcontractors
  • Participate in project meetings and maintain updated project documentation
  • Assist with site visits, progress tracking, and quality control
  • Ensure all project activities align with safety, quality, and compliance standards

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer in commercial construction
  • Exposure to ground‑up construction, ideally retail or similar sectors
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents
  • A proactive, detail‑oriented approach with strong problem‑solving abilities
  • Interest in developing into a full Project Manager role over time
