A fast-growing commercial contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee ground‑up construction projects across the grocery, retail, and QSR sectors. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at coordinating complex builds, and maintains strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Job Description

  • Lead ground-up construction projects from planning to completion
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and contract documents
  • Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, local authorities, and subcontractors
  • Oversee site development, utilities, permitting, and procurement
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications
  • Provide consistent updates to internal leadership and clients
  • Troubleshoot issues proactively and maintain forward progress

The Successful Applicant

  • 2+ years of experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects
  • Required experience in grocery, QSR, and/or retail builds
  • Strong knowledge of site development, utilities, MEP, and permitting processes
  • Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, MS Project, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel to job sites if needed
