Safety Officer

• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits on active projects.
• Identify hazards, perform job hazard analyses (JHAs/AHAs), and recommend corrective actions
• Verify that workers, equipment and tools are in compliance with company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Lead or facilitate toolbox talks, safety orientations for new hires, and ongoing training sessions
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near-misses; document findings, support root-cause analysis and track corrective action implementation.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting (inspections, audits, incident reports, training logs, etc.).
• Support the development and implementation of site-specific safety plans, and ensure subcontractors' plans meet company expectations.
• Collaborate with project leadership to integrate safety into planning and Owen execution phases of construction.
