Job Description

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold outreach, trade shows, and industry networking.
  • Manage and expand a portfolio of existing customer accounts, building trusted, long‑term relationships.
  • Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations tailored to customer applications and requirements.
  • Translate customer needs into manufacturable solutions by partnering with engineering, operations, and quality teams.
  • Develop proposals and quotations, and negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison throughout the sales cycle and into project execution.
  • Track market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasts, and customer data within a CRM system.
  • Share insights from the field to support continuous improvement and product development initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a technical discipline preferred (or equivalenthands‑on experience).
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or solution‑based B2B sales.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Comfort managing a territory, setting priorities, and working independently.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and standard business software.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% to support customers and business development efforts.
