Job Description

The US Sales Manager will be responsible for building and growing the company's U.S. customer base, with a primary focus on data center acquisition.

  • This is a hunter-focused, strategic role for an individual who thrives in new market development and has deep credibility in the fiber optics space.
  • Develop and execute the U.S. sales strategy, with emphasis on the data center ecosystem.
  • Identify, target, and acquire new customers among hyperscalers, cloud providers, integrators, and national distributors.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with engineering, procurement, and sourcing teams.
  • Partner with global manufacturing and technical teams to deliver custom fiber solutions.
  • Track U.S. market trends, competitive activity, and new project opportunities.
  • Represent the brand at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.

The Successful Applicant

A successfulSales Manager should have:

Must have experience in fiber optic cable manufacturing (no exceptions).

  • Proven success selling fiber, connectivity solutions, or optical infrastructure into data centers.
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. data center ecosystem; hyperscalers, colocation providers, integrators, and contractors.
  • Experience in new market development or building territory from the ground up.
  • Technical aptitude in fiber products, specifications, standards, and performance requirements.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating in a growth/expansion environment.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally with global teams.
  • Highly proactive, strategic, and self-driven.
