About Our Client

The client is a US based manufacturer of ingredients such as Tofu, and is expanding the verticals their product is sold into as a part of a national growth strategy. The client is well established in the traditional retail and food service channels, but is looking for someone to lead their B2B manufacturing channel.

Job Description

  • Head up the growth of the industrial food ingredient manufacturing channel for the entire company
  • Use previous industry experience to identify new business opportunities in the west
  • Develope and close new logo business with small-large sized manufacturers
  • Manage existing business
  • Help build a long term growth strategy for the company's trajectory in the industry moving forward

The Successful Applicant

  • 6-10 years of experience in food ingredient/produce sales
  • Heavy focus on selling into larger food manufacturers across the west
  • Extensive knowledge of West Coast markets and major manufacturers
  • Up-to-Date on industry trends
  • Ability to work autonomously and hit the ground running
  • Previous experience as a player-coach is nice to have
  • Previous experience with products with shorter shelf lives is preferred
