Job Description

* Diligently work on assigned territory to develop new business opportunities.
* Regularly meet with decision makers to analyze customer requirements
* Employ consultative, customer focused sales approach.
* Recommend changes in products, services and policy
* Make compelling sales presentations
* Gain attention and involvement of potential customers
* Establish common ground and focuses on win-win outcomes
* Gain concession and protect organizational interest.
* Address customer concerns and moves customer toward commitment.
* Close sales
* Effective use of cold calls and networking to generate new referrals.
* Thoroughly qualifies leads
* Builds and maintains customer relationship after initial sale.
* Provide high level of customer service support.
* Use collaborative selling strategies.
* Demonstrate thorough product knowledge
* Record and secure customer approvals of samples and sales orders.
* Recommends quality enhancements to customers
* Detect flaws in products

The Successful Applicant

  • Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Must be outgoing and personable, with a proactive approach to the job
  • Must have an excellent understanding of the Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel)
  • Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
  • Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Excellent time and project management skills. You're always looking to improve inefficient processes
  • Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or High School + 4 years relevant work history
  • Some business travel may be required
