They develop modular, scalable sustems that automate sample storage, management, and processing.Job DescriptionPossess a strong application knowledge of how the company's products and services solve customer problems and create customer value.Professionally represent company and its products and services to the marketplace.Perform customer presentations.Create and maintain company sales presentations.Make recommendations for product improvement and pricing.Timely completion of assigned tasks and achievement of deadlines.Attend and take part in sales meetings and trade shows.Supply product demonstrations of company's products to prospective customers.Participate in live product webinars along with Sales and Product Management personnel.Create submittals to RFQ and customer Tender submittals.Generate facilities layout, MEP connections, and product drawings including renderings.Provide and aid with sales quotes.Maintain and support sales quoting and sales configuration tools.Execute customer site surveys for company products and resolve any non-conformities.Become knowledgeable in competitive products, competitive market activity and aid Product Managers in their creation and maintenance of competition comparisons.Generate and supply SolidWorks and AutoCad detail facilities layout and product drawings (including renderings) to prospective customers.~10% business travel is needed within the Americas, Europe, and Pacific Rim.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred.Work experience (life science industry preferred) of: minimum 1 year as Sales Support Engineer, and 2) minimum 1 year in Sales role.Strong SolidWorks and AutoCAD (PTC Creo a plus) ability and experience including rendering.
