Job Description

Business Management:

  • Ensuring the group complies with, global and local regulatory requirements relating to operational and vendor risk management and reporting; business continuity; and resolution planning.
  • Working with various GS-BM department heads to provide process management and documentation.
  • Managing the departmental budget including planning and cost allocation.
  • Develop, maintain and enhance Management Information (MI) reports and related requirements.
  • Managing the Service Level Agreement (SLA) process for GS-BM, ensuring compliance with Tax, Finance and Vendor Risk Management requirements.
  • Serve as the Operational Risk Manager for GS-BM NY.

Project Management:

  • Understand and ensure the group complies with global project management framework on all departmental projects.
  • Perform quality control, ensuring project management standards and templates are maintained for locally managed projects.
  • Ensure all GS-BM project resources follow the established project management standards and templates.
  • Ensure project deliverables are clearly defined and understood by all project stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency and mitigate potential control gaps.

The Successful Applicant

  • Actively monitor and respond to security alerts and other reported potential threats
  • Conduct rapid response, mitigation and investigations on the highest priority cases impacting the Bank and its customers' data
  • Understand SOC goals and direction and ensure procedures are followed
  • Liaise with MSSP and assist with detection, escalation, containment, and resolution of alerts
  • Utilize threat intelligence sources to identify potential new threats and develop mitigations
  • Monitor and investigate e-mail security alerts including phishing and malware incidents
  • Perform vulnerability and compliance scans to report and identify vulnerabilities
  • Track reported vulnerabilities and work with the Technology Team on remediation efforts
