Job Description

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activities to maintain accurate records.
  • Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the company's assets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and systems.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience within the manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
