Description
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Accrual journal entries and reconciliation
- Debt journal entries
- Prepaid journal entries and reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly internal reports
- Assistance with external reporting
- Accounts Payable
- Audit support and preparation:
- Prepare supporting documentation and schedules as requested
- Follow up with audit staff when they have questions
- Monthly forecasting updates
- Assist with preparation and referencing of SEC documentation
- Assistance and preparation of SOX internal testing
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will posses the following:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting (required).
- 3-6 years of experience in general accounting and accounts payable.
- proficiency in Microsoft Office (required).
- Demonstrated understanding of general accounting principles.
- Prior experience with Quickbooks is preferred.
- Self starter who can quickly learn new concepts and apply the knowledge.
- Ability to work in a small team environment.
- Ability to work 2 days remote and 3 days in office.
