With a global presence, they are experiencing massive growth within their organization, and are now looking to bring on a Senior Accountant to help manage the accounting functions for one of their locations.Reporting into the Controller, you will be responsible with assisting in various accounting functions including month-end, audit, and other duties as assigned. As the Senior Accountant, you will be a key driver improving efficiency and profitability of the business as well!Job DescriptionAssist in the monthly general ledger close process.Prepare and analyze financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to ensure adherence to US GAAP and Global Accounting Policies.Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead their implementation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide training as necessary.Reconcile financial data across different platforms to ensure accuracy.Research and interpret data to address accounting and financial inquiries.Support various audit processes.Participate in ad hoc projects and perform additional accounting duties as neededMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
