Job Description

Consolidation & Close Process

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation cycles, ensuring deadlines and reporting requirements are consistently met.
  • Prepare and review consolidation-related journal entries, including intercompany eliminations, investment eliminations, and foreign currency adjustments.
  • Reconcile intercompany balances and transactions, partnering with regional teams to investigate and resolve variances.
  • Maintain and enhance the consolidation system, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and integrity of financial data.
  • Produce and review consolidated financial statements, including the income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, and equity rollforward.



Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Support the preparation of financial reporting packages for leadership, including periodic management reports.
  • Compile audit-ready schedules and documentation to support internal and external audit requirements.



Process Optimization

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability within the consolidation and reporting processes.
  • Develop and maintain clear documentation of accounting policies, procedures, and workflows.
  • Assist with the integration of newly acquired entities into the financial consolidation framework.



Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with teams across Finance, including FP&A, Tax, and Treasury, to ensure alignment on financial data and reporting.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audit cycles.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to accounting team members on consolidation-related topics.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and special projects as neede

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • CPA designation preferred
  • 3-5+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on financial consolidations
  • Public accounting experience is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, particularly consolidation principles
  • Experience with consolidation platforms such as OneStream, Hyperion, SAP BPC, or Oracle FCCS
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, both independently and collaboratively
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
