Their culture values accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement-making this an ideal setting for finance professionals who thrive on ownership and operational impact.Job DescriptionReporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Assistant Financial Controller will support month‑end accuracy, strengthen controls, and guide accounting operations across the business.Prepare and consolidate monthly financial statements and internal reporting.Support general ledger activities, including month‑end close and balance sheet reconciliations.Reconcile bank statements and escalate discrepancies appropriately.Prepare journal entries including cash receipts, inter‑company activity, and payroll.Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure accuracy and timely execution.Support all audit processes including year‑end, governmental, state, and insurance audits.Maintain and enhance accounting policies, internal controls, and process improvements.Provide leadership, training, and communication to accounting team members.Participate in ERP conversion/implementation and testing.Support management with special projects and ad‑hoc reporting.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
