Being at the forefront of innovation and quality with a presence across various industries on a global scale, they are looking to add a Senior Accountant to their growing team.The Senior Accountant will report directly into the Director of Accounting, and will have a large impact on the future growth of the organization, while having a seat at the table when it comes to decision making.Job DescriptionSenior Accountant Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth analysis and generate detailed reports on global production costs, ensuring a clear understanding of cost drivers and operational performance across all international locations.Review and interpret the financial performance of our overseas subsidiaries, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement to support strategic decision-making.Oversee and assess manufacturing processes to ensure optimal efficiency, while delivering actionable insights and performance metrics to executive leadership for continuous improvement.Provide critical support during the monthly financial close by preparing accurate entries, reconciliations, and reports, maintaining a high level of accuracy and timeliness.Assist in managing international compliance issues related to taxation, audits, and legal regulations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to global standards.Lead or participate in a variety of high-impact projects that drive innovation, efficiency, and long-term growth, adapting to the evolving needs of a dynamic, global business environment.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
