This client works with large, well-known manufacturers to increase their global footprint by reducing hazardous materials. With a global presence, they are experiencing massive growth within their organization, and are now looking to bring on a Senior Accountant to help manage the accounting functions for one of their locations.Reporting into the Controller, you will be responsible with assisting in various accounting functions including month-end, audit, and other duties as assigned. Job Description

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the monthly general ledger close process
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to ensure adherence to US GAAP and Global Accounting Policies
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead their implementation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide training as necessary
  • Reconcile financial data across different platforms to ensure accuracy
  • Research and interpret data to address accounting and financial inquiries
  • Support various audit processes
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and perform additional accounting duties as needed

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting.
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
