Description
The Senior Accountant - Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:
- Analyze and reconcile bank statements, ledgers, reports, and financial records
- Recommend and prepare adjustments, journal entries, reports, and fund transfers
- Prepare schedules for various funds and accounts for the Annual Audit; reconcile accounts with audit outcomes
- Prepare workpapers and provide supporting schedules/documents
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Analyze transactions for correct coding and assignment of revenues and expenditures
- Analyze and post additions, transfers, and dispositions of capital assets
- Review accounts payable checks and documentation for proper backup and approval
- Study, develop and standardize procedures and policies to improve efficiency and ensure sound financial practices
- Communicate with other departments as needed
- Handle General Ledger Journal Entries
- Bank and Account reconciliations

The Successful Applicant
The Senior Accountant - Manufacturing should have the following skill sets and experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Related Degree
- 3 - 5+ years of Accounting tenure preferably within the Manufacturing Sector
- Software: Excel other Large ERP System exposure
