Job Description

    • Support month-end close activities to ensure timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting
    • Prepare and maintain supporting schedules for balance sheet and P&L accounts
    • Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in compliance with applicable accounting standards
    • Perform account reconciliations and investigate and resolve variances
    • Assist with oversight of the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions
    • Review journal entries to confirm accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation
    • Contribute to the maintenance and continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems
    • Support external audit activities, including annual financial, tax, and lender-required audits
    • Ensure audit readiness through proper documentation and adherence to internal controls
    • Assist in the development, documentation, and enforcement of internal control procedures
    • Provide day-to-day accounting support, including:
      • Reviewing and approving invoices prior to posting to the general ledger, ensuring correct period, GL coding, and departmental allocation (e.g., using document management systems such as Papersave)
      • Assisting with vendor invoice coding and reconciliations (e.g., FedEx and other suppliers)
      • Cross-training and providing backup support within accounts payable
    • Monitor licensing revenue invoicing and collections to ensure accuracy and timeliness
    • Perform monthly reporting and analysis in Concur, including review of GL accounts and related journal entries
    • Support ad hoc analyses and special projects as required

The Successful Applicant



Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA designation preferred

Minimum of three years of progressive accounting experience

Strong foundation in general ledger management and financial reporting principles

Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting systems

  • Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
