Job Description

  • Manage the preparation and review of financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial and tax regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and address findings effectively.
  • Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
  • Support cross-departmental initiatives by providing financial expertise and analysis.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 6+ years of experience in accounting
  • Experienced accounting manager level candidate
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry
  • SAP S4Hana experience a plus
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
