Job Description

  • Oversee and manage mergers and acquisitions transactions from inception to completion.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients on M&A-related matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents and contracts.
  • Conduct due diligence and identify potential risks in transactions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deal execution.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry trends impacting M&A activities.
  • Advocate for clients in negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide ongoing legal guidance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission and good standing in the District of Columbia.
  • Strong knowledge of mergers and acquisitions processes and regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage high-value transactions and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative approach to working with clients and colleagues.
