Our client is an investment firm located in San Francisco. The firm focuses on both growth equity and private credit investing and is growing at a rapid rate. This role is 5 days a week in office.Candidates will only be considered that have 2+ years in investment banking and 2+ years at an investment firm. Must have technology focused investment experience

Job Description


  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on private market investment opportunities, including growth equity, private credit, and venture capital.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscapes to identify attractive opportunities and potential risks.
  • Perform financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence to assess the feasibility and potential returns of prospective investments.
  • Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the CIO to support investment decision-making and portfolio management activities.
  • Monitor and track portfolio performance, market developments, and regulatory changes affecting private markets.

The Successful Applicant

  • 4+ years of experience with a mix of investment banking and buy side experience. Must have experience with investments into the technology sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CFA) preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for learning and growth.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant financial analysis tools.

Candidates will only be considered that have 2+ years in investment banking and 2+ years at an investment firm. Must have technology focused investment experience

150-200k base + annual cash bonus in the ball park of 275-325k
