About Our Client
My client is seeking a Senior Associate to join their team on a direct-hire basis. This role will involve the production of financial reports & maintaining adequate systems of accounting records. This is a hybrid-based role, and is located in Manhattan.

Description
- Assist in preparing financial reports
- Train & implement employees on coding processes
- Support the financial budget development process
- Access adequacy of revenue recognition
- Ensure key controls for private grants are operating effectively
- Ensure proper process documentation for governmental revenue streams
- Monitor receipts of payments
- Provide documentation to support month-end close
- Work with year-end auditors
The Successful Applicant
- Completed Bachelor's degree
- 5 years+ applicable experience within accounting/finance; experience with grants and government funds is a plus
- Big four experience highly preferred
- Active CPA certification preferred
- Ability to work in complex, fast-paced, creative & quickly changing environments
- Familiarity with non-profit accounting highly preferred
