About Our Client

Incredible Non Profit based in Union Square (3 days a week in office) is looking for a Senior Benefits Analyst to join their team. $80k-$95k base salary + phenomenal benefits. Must have experience with 403b/401k plans.

Job Description



    • 403b Administration and Oversight: Maintain accurate records for audit purposes and perform monthly audit and reconciliation of 403b accounts.


    • Group Health Insurance Management: Manage group health insurance payments and assist the Director of Human Resources with health plan-related matters.


    • Leave of Absence Management: Assist the Director of Human Resources in managing leaves of absence, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.


    • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Administration: Manage FSA benefits, including enrollment, contributions, and reimbursements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.


    • Financial Reconciliation: Assist accounting with monthly HR-related account reconciliations and record appropriate General Ledger entries for review and posting by the Controller.


    • Union Dues Processing: Process monthly union dues payments, maintain documentation of payments, and liaise with unions regarding payment processing.


    • Tuition Benefit Management: Manage tuition benefit requests, including processing applications and tracking tuition loan repayments.


    • Medicare Reimbursements: Process quarterly Medicare reimbursements accurately and in a timely manner.


    • Additional Responsibilities: Assist with other HR-related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the HR department.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in benefits administration, with a focus on retirement plans, health insurance, and leave management.
  • Experience with 403b or 401k administration
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and reconciliation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements (e.g., ERISA, ACA, FMLA).
