Save JobEmail Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsTop firm seeking Senior Paralegal to handle PERM workRole will focus on high-volume PERM casesAbout Our ClientGlobal law firm.Job DescriptionPerform more substantive and client facing work than is typical for a Paralegal in a law firm setting including varied case related duties requiring specialized knowledge and skills in employment-based immigration matters, specifically PERMBe fluent with case management and other reporting tools and technologies used to manage data and informationDevelop and recommend solutions and process improvements to clients, including developing billing strategies, provide guidance on DOL timelines and concurrent recruitment strategies, provide analytical work authorization forecasting, and develop long-term strategy plans related to the intersection between NIV and IV mattersWork with moderate supervision and guidance and be accountable for individual results and their impact on the teamWork with clients and PERM stakeholders to intake cases, troubleshoot issues, and establish case strategyAnalyze case documents and liaise with international teams to review case documents and prepare immigration applications for submission/filing with the appropriate government agencyDraft petitions, applications and specialized support letters detailing eligibility for visa classification and other immigration benefits.Communicate regularly with clients and foreign nationals regarding procedural and case processing issuesAssist with the review of casesAssist in the hiring and training of new team members and identify ways to improve team productivity and office-wide projectsOversee status of cases through utilization of case management and billing systemsWork closely in team environment and provide updates while building knowledge of firm and client processesReceive continuous training and development on requirements for various types of non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions and applicationsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
