This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of supply chain principles, and the ability to build and maintain strategic supplier relationships in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Job DescriptionProcurement Strategy: Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with the company's objectives, focusing on cost savings, quality improvement, and supplier performance.Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and sustainability. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships.Negotiation & Contract Management: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable agreements that meet operational and budgetary requirements.Material Planning: Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to forecast material needs, ensuring inventory levels meet production demands without excess stock.Cost Control: Monitor market trends and material price fluctuations to proactively address cost changes. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.Risk Management: Assess supplier risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions to the supply chain.Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all purchased materials meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
