Job Description



  • Strategic Sourcing:
    • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to secure raw materials, components, and services at optimal cost, quality, and delivery standards.
    • Identify and qualify new suppliers to diversify the supply chain and mitigate risks.


  • Vendor Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and contracts.
    • Monitor supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards, delivery timelines, and service agreements.


  • Procurement Operations:
    • Process purchase orders, track delivery schedules, and resolve any supply chain disruptions.
    • Maintain accurate procurement records and reports for compliance and auditing purposes.


  • Cost Management:
    • Conduct market research and cost analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities.
    • Collaborate with finance and production teams to optimize budget utilization and inventory levels.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with production, engineering, and quality control teams to align procurement strategies with operational goals.
    • Participate in new product development by sourcing materials and negotiating with suppliers.


  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Lead initiatives to streamline procurement processes and enhance supply chain efficiency.
    • Stay updated on market trends, material innovations, and regulatory changes affecting the industry.

The Successful Applicant



  • ducation:
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.


  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of procurement or purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
    • Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics, manufacturing processes, and inventory management.


  • Skills:
    • Proven negotiation, vendor management, and contract development skills.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.


  • Certifications (Preferred):
    • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP).
