Reporting directly to the Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Applying continuous improvement methodology to develop and coordinate initiatives with suppliers
  • Prepare complex reports
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends in order to develop complex reports
  • Understand how to reduce cost and implement strategies to reduce cost impact
  • Develop business partners across the manufacturing organization

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in buyer role or related field
  • Vendor relation skills
  • Cost savings experience
  • Understanding of continuous improvement, lean tools, value stream mapping, project leadership
