Description
Reporting directly to the Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Applying continuous improvement methodology to develop and coordinate initiatives with suppliers
- Prepare complex reports
- Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends in order to develop complex reports
- Understand how to reduce cost and implement strategies to reduce cost impact
- Develop business partners across the manufacturing organization
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in buyer role or related field
- Vendor relation skills
- Cost savings experience
- Understanding of continuous improvement, lean tools, value stream mapping, project leadership
