Senior Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Controller to oversee our financial operations. Reporting directly to the owners, the Senior Controller will play a pivotal role in managing the financial health of the company, with a specific focus on job costing, work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the heavy construction industry, strong analytical skills, and a strategic mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management: Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Job Costing: Implement and maintain robust job costing systems to accurately track project costs and profitability.
• Work-in-Progress Reporting: Prepare and present detailed WIP reports to management, ensuring timely and accurate reflection of project status and financial position.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement; provide actionable insights to the owners.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, as well as internal policies and procedures.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support for project planning and execution.
