With this growth, they are now looking to bring on a Senior Corporate Accountant to join their team.Reporting into the CFO, you will be responsible with assisting in various accounting functions including month-end, audit requests, sales and used tax, cost/inventory and more!Job Description Senior Corporate Accountant:Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and reviews.Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and proper expense allocation.Research and interpret complex accounting issues, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.Review and approve vendor payments, expense reports, and invoices for accuracy and compliance.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
