Senior Corporate Counsel responsible for varied matters: Corporate Transactions, M&A, IP, Data Privacy and Business Affairs. A hybrid role suitable for an In-House Counsel with 5+ years varied corporate In-House experience - preferably within SaaS, Technology, Fintech or Financial Services. Job Description

As Senior Corporate Counsel, you will work directly with the General Counsel. Varied responsibilities include:

  • Corporate Transactions - working with the business to negotiate, structure and draft legal agreements (key corporate transactions including M&A, partnerships, joint ventures).
  • IPO preparedness.
  • Company Matters - working with Compliance and Finance, ensuring the business is aware of and adheres to current and upcoming regulatory requirements globally.
  • Advising on Intellectual Property best practice.
  • Trusted advisor on corporate litigation and any disputes that might arise.
  • Advise on, draft and develop legal frameworks for the organization's digital asset products/ services. Being aware of fintech/ cryptocurrency industry trends and regulatory developments.

The Successful Applicant

Demonstrable skills and experience required for the Corporate Counsel role:

  • 5+ years relevant SaaS, technology, fintech or financial services legal industry experience (preferably for international organizations)
  • Demonstrable background in working with fintech/ financial services organizations on structuring legal partnerships, transactions and IPO preparedness
  • Juris Doctor
  • New York bar admission
  • Must have the right to work in the US now and in the future
