About Our Client

Our client is a US based, renewable energy firm that focus on the development of utility scale solar, wind, and battery storage projects across the US. They are a respected national brand, with a great leadership team in place. With over 9 GW of projects in their portfolio, they are actively looking to grow their development team.

Job Description

  • Manage and execute the development of utility-scale renewable energy projects
  • Direct and manage a team of developers
  • Build and maintain relationships with local project stakeholders, landowners, and surveyors
  • Create and manage project budgets and schedules including navigating internal project reviews and investment decisions
  • Responsible for origination and support of the company's utility-scale projects in the US
  • Help identify new greenfield renewable energy and energy storage project opportunities, including market assessments and fatal flaw identification
  • Acquire real estate rights for development opportunities
  • Direct resource management processes and output estimates

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, economics, finance, environmental science, or a related field is required.
  • Knowledge of energy policy and customer/market signals that impact or facilitate new development of renewable projects in major markets (CAISO, WECC, ERCOT, MISO, SPP, PJM, NY-ISO, ISO-NE).
  • Battery storage project experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel as required (>25%).
