Save JobEmail Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsOpportunity to join one of the leading plaintiff's firms in the United StatesExcellent work/life balanceAbout Our ClientLeading plaintiff's law firm in the United States known for exposing corporate misconduct.Job DescriptionPrimary Job Functions, Under the Supervision of the Managing Clerk:Docket and calendar all court-related and discovery papers utilizing the Firm's designated docketing system (Compulaw)Review and audit court filed/docketed documents and calculate return dates and deadlinesReview court papers prior to filing for compliance with applicable court rulesAssist with the electronic filings in federal and state courts in various jurisdictions, as well as arbitration associationsMonitor case progress, retrieve court filings, decisions and orders, obtain docket updates, and communicate case status changes to responsible attorneys and legal assistantsReview filings for compliance with court rules and proceduresCoordinate service of process with process serversAssist attorneys with federal court and pro hac vice admissionsMaintain attorney electronic filing credential databaseLiaison with court personnel, process servers, and outside vendorsOther responsibilities as they are assigned from time to timeMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
