Job Description

  • Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated software systems and applications using Python and TypeScript.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, driving best practices, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
  • Domain Expertise: Utilize expertise in alternative investing, particularly in private credit, to inform software design and development processes, ensuring alignment with industry standards and requirements.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and quality assurance to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Innovation: Continuously explore and evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating them into the development process where applicable to enhance product capabilities and performance.
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers, fostering their growth and development by sharing knowledge, providing feedback, and promoting a culture of learning and collaboration.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Python and TypeScript.
  • Strong expertise in alternative investing, preferably in private credit, with a deep understanding of industry-specific concepts and requirements.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing complex software systems and applications, with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Extensive experience with modern software development practices and tools, including Agile methodologies, version control systems (e.g., Git), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
