Currently generating approximately $20M in annual revenue, the company has a clear and aggressive growth plan to scale beyond $100M+ over the next 5-10 years, creating long-term career stability and advancement opportunities.Job DescriptionThe Senior Estimator - Wet & Dry Utilities - DC will be responsible for:Leading detailed estimates for wet and dry utility scopes on commercial and civil projectsPreparing accurate conceptual, budgetary, and hard-bid estimates from early design through final pricingReviewing drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports to identify scope, quantities, and risksPerforming quantity takeoffs and assembling labor, equipment, material, and subcontractor pricingDeveloping pricing strategies for water, sewer, storm, power, telecom, and duct bank work (no gas)Soliciting, evaluating, and leveling subcontractor and vendor bidsIdentifying value engineering opportunities and cost-saving alternativesAssessing project risk and incorporating contingencies as neededCollaborating with operations, project management, and leadership during bid reviews and handoffPreparing bid proposals, scopes of work, clarifications, and exclusionsSupporting preconstruction planning and scheduling as neededMaintaining estimating databases, historical cost data, and production ratesParticipating in post-bid interviews, negotiations, and client presentationsAssisting with workload planning and mentoring junior estimators as requiredMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
