My Client is seeking a seasoned Senior Estimator to join their dynamic team in San Diego. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in estimating for formulaic retail and restaurant projects, including but not limited to CVS, 7-Eleven, and similar establishments. This role requires a deep understanding of project scopes, budgets, and timelines to ensure accurate and competitive bids.

Job Description



  • Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for formulaic retail and restaurant construction projects.


  • Analyze project plans and specifications to determine scope of work and required resources.


  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information.


  • Prepare and submit comprehensive bid proposals in a timely manner.


  • Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitiveness and compliance.


  • Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the construction phase.


  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and construction methods.

The Successful Applicant



  • Minimum of 5 years of senior estimator experience in formulaic retail and restaurant building and construction.


  • Proven experience with projects for national brands such as CVS, 7-Eleven, and similar establishments.


  • Strong understanding of construction costs, materials, and labor.


  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.


  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.


  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
