Job Description

Senior Finance Director Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute financial strategies that align with business objectives, identifying growth opportunities and mitigating financial risks.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to provide key insights and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Assess and manage financial risks, implementing strategies to protect the company's financial stability.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with all regulatory requirements, delivering monthly financial results with variance analysis and improvement recommendations.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing finance team, aligning their efforts with business goals through hiring, training, and ongoing development.
  • Work closely with other departments to identify cost-saving opportunities, streamline processes, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the division and company to drive financial and business success.
  • Up to 20% domestic travel required.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of finance/accounting experience within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven success driving financial outcomes in companies with $1B + in revenue.
  • 5+ years of managerial/leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial systems.
  • Great communication and ability to convey clear points to management/stakeholders.
