As the organization continues to grow, they are looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst, Cost & Margin Analysis to join their team!In this newly created role, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for product costing, BOM review, commodity trend analysis, and identifying margin erosion to ensure pricing reflects true cost to serve. The position partners closely with R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to support data-driven decisions.Job DescriptionReview and analyze product cost models (materials, labor, overhead, packaging).Validate and maintain Bills of Materials for accuracy and production alignment.Partner with R&D and Operations on cost impacts from formulation or process changes.Update and manage standard costs and labor rates within the ERP system.Track key commodity trends and assess financial impact.Provide monthly insights on cost fluctuations and inflation risks.Work with Procurement to align forecasts with supplier pricing and contracts.Perform monthly margin analysis by product, customer, and channel.Identify and explain drivers of margin changes.Build models to evaluate pricing scenarios and customer profitability.Provide cost-based pricing guidance and validate customer pricing.Support annual pricing strategies and strategic initiatives.Deliver financial analysis for operational and capital projects.Prepare cost reports, dashboards, and variance analysis for leadership.Maintain accuracy of costing data in ERP/BI systems.Improve costing processes, controls, and automation.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
