About Our Client

I'm partnered with the VP of Finance at a multi-million dollar renewable & environment company looking to grow their team due to organic growth and acquisitions. With major investments in the Greater Chicago Area market, their goal is to quadruple their business in the next 5 years! We placed the FP&A Manager earlier this year and now they are looking to add on a Senior FP&A Analyst that will focus on Business Partnering on the operations side!

Job Description

  • Prepare annual budget and monthly/quarterly forecasts
  • Update monthly scorecards and analysis
  • Develop financial models in order to optimize the business and operational performance
  • Implement methods & techniques to improve forecasting, financial evaluations, and analyses financial processes and system functionality
  • Work cross-functionally with other internal teams, particularly operations
  • Assist in the creation of project-level forecasts for incorporation into a long-range planning process and analyze performance against objective
  • Compare anticipated vs actual results
  • Identify areas of improvement and review accounting transactions for data accuracy

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field
  • 1+ years of experience in finance
  • Ability to build relationships with other departments/team members
  • Solid financial planning experience and business acumen to quickly understand the business
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Has the capacity to work independently
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytic capability and propensity for continuous improvement
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and Power Point
