Located near Wood Dale, IL this client is looking to bring on a Senior FP&A Analyst due to immense growth that theorganization/team is experiencing right now! Reporting directly into the CFO, the Senior FP&A Analyst will oversee the company's business planning process and provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, enhance performance, and contribute to the company's ongoing success.Job Description Senior FP&A Analyst Responsibilities:Lead the development and management of the annual budget, working closely with department leaders to ensure alignment with overall business goals.Conduct financial analysis to uncover key business drivers and performance metrics, offering actionable insights.Provide detailed monthly commentary and analysis for company reporting packages.Assist in sales and profit forecasting by evaluating category trends, customer dynamics, and key growth initiatives to support business planning and prioritization.Identify cost-saving opportunities and strategies to enhance earnings, collaborating with senior leadership to drive financial improvements.Develop and maintain financial reporting packages on a weekly, periodic, and quarterly basis, focusing on customer and SKU profitability.Deliver trended reports and insights to optimize freight, product mix, pricing, and other revenue or non-operational costs.Conduct profitability analysis for customers, individual items, and new initiatives.Perform in-depth analysis of financial and competitive results, including P&L performance, variance analysis (Price, Volume, Mix), and sales trends.Build short- and long-term financial forecast models for income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Support strategic planning and business case analysis as needed to aid in decision-making.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
