The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in spend analysis, supplier management, and process improvement to drive cost savings and operational efficiency.Job DescriptionCategory Management:Develop and execute category strategies for indirect procurement, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Analyze spending patterns to identify opportunities for cost savings and consolidation.Supplier Management:Evaluate and manage supplier relationships, ensuring high performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery.Conduct supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms, contracts, and pricing.Monitor supplier performance through key metrics and resolve any issues proactively.Spend Analysis & Reporting:Perform detailed spend analysis to identify trends, risks, and savings opportunities.Develop and present reports and dashboards to stakeholders, providing insights into procurement performance and savings.Process Optimization:Streamline procurement processes, leveraging technology and best practices to improve efficiency.Support the implementation of procurement tools and systems, such as e-sourcing platforms and spend management solutions.Stakeholder Collaboration:Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, IT, facilities, and HR) to understand business needs and ensure alignment of procurement strategies.Act as a subject matter expert, advising internal stakeholders on procurement policies and best practices.Compliance & Risk Management:Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements.Identify and mitigate procurement risks, including supplier disruptions and market volatility.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
