Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsDirector-level IP Attorney role for international CPG companyHybrid role 3 days in-officeAbout Our ClientCPG company.Job DescriptionThe Senior IP Counsel will work closely with the business to advise on a wide range of legal matters affecting different brands, including:Partnering directly with brand teams to advise on the administration and protection of both global and US trademark portfoliosDraft, review and negotiate trademark, copyright and marketing related contracts, including license agreements, influencer/artist agreements, settlement agreements, etc.Advising the business on IP transactions as they relate to M&A activity (drafting agreements, due diligence)Advise the business on clearance searching, rendering availability opinions, filing programs, false advertising risk, claims substantiation, right of publicity and additional IP related issuesManage all IP enforcement matters for the brands, including managing outside counsel on litigation mattersWork closely with the business to counsel on a wide range of marketing mattersWork as an individual contributor, handling a wide range of IP related matters autonomouslyMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
