Job Description

  • Partner with site leadership to develop and execute continuous improvement plans within the Lean Operating System framework
  • Lead transformation efforts in key areas of the site
  • Facilitate and apply Structured Problem Solving and Value Stream Mapping for improvement planning and implementation
  • Improve and install tiered visual and daily management systems for effective factory management
  • Plan and facilitate kaizen events to drive sustainable improvements
  • Analyze and improve transaction-based processes to reduce waste and increase efficiency
  • Provide training on Lean and Continuous Improvement tools (e.g., Daily Management, Problem Solving, 6S, Kanban, OEE)
  • Coach and develop others in Lean methods and Continuous Improvement practices
  • Challenge existing practices to achieve higher levels of sustainable results
  • Share knowledge of leading practices and benchmark improvements within and outside the organization
  • Drive targeted improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity (SQDCP) aligned with company objectives
  • Support improvement opportunities at other sites or across non-manufacturing areas when appropriate
  • Onsite at our Hopedale, MA facility

The Successful Applicant



The Senior Lean Leader- Manufacturing, will:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Proven track record of driving sustainable results using Lean methodologies / operational excellence
  • Hands-on experience deploying a Lean Operating System with measurable improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and agility
  • Skilled in value stream improvements and Lean tools (e.g., SMED, 6S, Visual Management, Daily Management, standard work)
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification preferred
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills; self-motivated with a bias for action
  • Ability to engage and influence employees at all levels, from shop floor to senior leadership
  • Solid understanding of advanced statistical and Six Sigma techniques
  • PMP certification or formal project management training preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Visio
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills
  • Local to Hopedale, MA
