If you are looking to join a fast growing company, put your print on a newly created position this could be a great opportunity for you.Job DescriptionCoordinate the international movement of food and beverage products, ensuring compliance with all relevant food safety regulations, import/export laws, and international trade policies.Develop and maintain strong partnerships with international suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics partners to ensure smooth and efficient shipments.Ensure all necessary documentation for food and beverage shipments is completed accurately, including customs declarations, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and compliance with health and safety standards.Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery, proactively addressing any disruptions or delays that may impact product availability.Work with internal teams (procurement, quality control, inventory, and sales) to forecast demand, manage stock levels, and ensure timely delivery of products to customers.Negotiate contracts and shipping agreements with carriers and third-party logistics providers, focusing on minimizing costs while maintaining quality service levels.Ensure that food products are transported under the proper conditions, including temperature-controlled environments when required, to meet food safety and quality standards.Analyze logistics data and provide insights on key performance metrics, identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.Stay up-to-date on global food safety regulations, changing import/export laws, and best practices in food and beverage logistics.Collaborate with the finance team to manage shipping and logistics costs and ensure accurate billing and payment processes for international shipments.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
