Job Description

Responsibilities for the Senior Manufacturing Engineer include:

  • Develop and improve extrusion processes to support current and future demand.
  • Support transfer and standardization of manufacturing processes from global sites.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and throughput.
  • Specify, procure, and commission manufacturing equipment, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Support NPD teams to ensure manufacturability and process capability.
  • Drive lean manufacturing, scrap reduction, and process control improvements.
  • Maintain ERP production data including routings, work orders, and Kanban systems.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to support production continuity.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Manufacturing Engineer should have:

  • 5-10 years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably extrusion or plastics.
  • Experience in cleanroom manufacturing environments (Class 7 preferred).
  • Strong background in lean manufacturing, SPC, and process optimization.
  • Proficient with 2D/3D CAD tools.
  • FMEA, DFMA, RCA, or Six Sigma experience preferred.
