About Our Client

Our client is a manufacturer of electronics serving OEMs in the defense, agricultural, and heavy equipment industries. Privately owned for more than 40 years, the client has shown impressive growth and are searching for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to be a leader at their headquarters.

Job Description

  • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods
  • Execute the manufacturing side of new product introduction process
  • Qualify processes and tooling using acceptable statistical methods
  • Create work instructions, production standards and handle production staffing requirements
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments/facilities involved in the manufacturing process
  • Research and resolve production issues
  • Evaluate and recommend potential new production equipment, including costs and NRE
  • Design tools and fixtures through the use of accepted CAD systems
  • Establish operating, maintenance and safety procedures for plant equipment and machinery

The Successful Applicant

  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing for the electronics/PCB/ or electro-mechanical products and/or components
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting machinery for assembly, PCBs, and validation of product quality
  • Experience writing work instructions for operators (visual or written)
  • Design tooling and applications to improve operator efficiency and reduce waste/down time
  • Lean/Six Sigma background/certifications is a plus
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

  • Base salary between $85,000 to $100,000 depending on level of experience
