The Senior Murex Analyst will support the New Product Onboarding team in implementing front-to-back solutions for commodities trading, including Oil, Precious Metals, Base Metals, US Power, and Gas, while enhancing Murex capabilities for carbon markets. This role involves configuring Murex, optimizing booking models, troubleshooting risk and valuation processes, and collaborating with global teams to ensure scalable and efficient system integration.

Job Description



  • Product Onboarding & Configuration - Configure and onboard new commodities products in Murex, including Oil, Precious Metals, Base Metals, US Power, and Gas.


  • System Optimization & Troubleshooting - Analyze, troubleshoot, and enhance Murex booking models, trade workflows, risk, and valuation processes.


  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement - Work closely with global teams, including Front Office, Market Risk, and Operations, to ensure seamless integration and efficiency.


  • Automation & Process Improvement - Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency gains, and operational risk reduction within Murex configurations.


  • Reporting & Compliance - Provide timely updates to management and ensure compliance with branch regulations and governance policies.

The Successful Applicant



  • Murex Expertise - Strong experience in configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing Murex for commodities trading, including physical and financial products.


  • Technical Proficiency - Deep understanding of Murex architecture, booking models, risk management, valuations, and curve setup.


  • Industry Knowledge - Solid background in US Power and Gas markets, derivatives, and trade lifecycle processes
